AOxPort is an AO Data Exporter Utility.
it's primary function is to export your player characters into XML.
it also has secondary functions that exports specific data about items for statistical purposes on this items database website.

Requires the Microsoft .NET framework 2.0
Released under the GPLv3 licence complete with source code.

Download v2.3.0.0 - 3.65 MB - May 17, 2010

v2.3.0.0 Update - A few more bug fixes and tweaks.

v2.2.0.0 Update - Bug fixes and new features; see ChangeLog.txt for details

v2.x series was released with a new hooking method via EasyHook (no more MadCodeHookLib)
this version should be able to work on all platforms.

Can't get it to work on my end. Keeps telling me that there's an AOhook<something>.dll failure. Where is this file supposed to be run from? or is it that I'm on Win7 64?

The program was created in WinXP 32 waaay before Win7 became popular.
I've gotten a few reports that it don't work under Win7 (not surprised)
but I also don't have a clue on how to fix the issue.
Try giving the program folder's read/write permissions and see if you can run under compatibility mode. the AOxPortHook.dll is in the same folder as the program so maybe you need to adjust the working directory?

AOxPort works almost exactly like ClickSaver does; in fact I used ClickSaver's source as example code while creating AOxPort.
the only difference is the DLL hook that gets injected into AO.
instead of the hook finding mission data packets, mine finds the FullCharater packets.

really disappointed that this won't work on winXP x64, any suggestions? creating a character from scratch is REALLY a PITA.

it doesn't start whatsoever under any compatibility mode, with any read/write permissions, logged in as an admin or not.

error:
Code:
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application.

Well, yes. You probably already know that I hang out alot in IRC
and one of it's users that I speak to has offered me an alternative to using mad's code hook lib which v1.x depends on and is the reason why v1.x is failing. apparently, there's some incompatibilities with using mad's library which interestingly enough seems to work for clicksaver.

I'm now working on creating a v2.x series, but I need some time to get familiar with this new hooking technique as I code it.

just hold on to your panties.

If your concerned you should be able to look over the source code and compile if for yourself.

Other then that it is a false positive and can just be ignored

It's a False Positive.
I don't write virus/malware.

but I would expect virus scanners to trigger;
AOxPort uses EasyHook to attach a debugger to a process that is not it's own (the game client) and inject a foreign DLL to gather the data.

the installer package for it has been known to give false positives also
cuz it's my custom version of WinZip's self-extracting exe, the package's output filename differs that from the internal assembly name ("extractor.exe")

Just a quick question.

When I upload my items database to your server do I have to take care that I don't upload the items multiple times?

I know that you want to collect information about items rolled in missions. I am afraid that the numbers will be wrong if I upload the same data twice. Do I have to do something about this? Or think about this at all?
